HEID USA – who we are

HEID USA is the North American distributor for HEID Antriebstechnik AU who are leaders in the design and production of clutches and brakes for application critical industries. With a strong focus on custom designed electromagnetically, hydraulically or pneumatically operated clutches and brakes, we are able to meet the requirements of every type of industrial application. Alongside our extensive distribution network we enjoy successful business relationships both nationally and internationally.

Our organisation is located near Vienna, Austria, in the same location where Maschinenfabrik HEID AG was founded more than 130 years ago. The 3,000-m2 (32,300 sq. ft.) area contains 3 workshop halls for mechanical production, assembling & testing, a warehouse, a shipping department and a 600 m2 (6,500 sq. ft.) office building.
